Unless you're talking alot more heavy duty stuff than I realize,..I got no problem with it right here. Were are all food addicts and none of us are without faults or hangups. But whatever is the most comfortable for the majority of those more impacted.
Personal issues don't reduce the support, friendship, and benefits I value from the people on this Board. I don't always agree with everything everyone says but that is what makes the Board great and I respect that. It is good to get some new stuff to think about or consider. I also love the tough love and sometimes brutal honesty. Sometimes funny, sometimes a real poke in the eye, but always sincere and real form somebodies point of view that has been there. You can't buy that at WalMart.

Very Generious offer....it sounds challenging....let's go for it....
I was reading in a journel, that there was a treatment for opiate addiction...where they put you unconcious, on a vent, and then flood your body with Narcan,,,,to remove the drugs from you system....they keep you on the vent for several hours being monitored...and then bring you out when the body recovers...this keep you from going through the flying **** fits....this works on the physical dependence..but not the mental addiction.....
so there are creative thearipies out there....all knowledge is good

cb,
I say go for it. Addictions--or at least obsessions--seem to shadow morbidly obesity and don't just melt away with weight loss. I can't see any downside as far as OH is concerned. Folks who aren't interested can just skip this and those with addiction issues will certainly benefit. As an added bonus, the "just curious" might discover some insights they didn't know they lacked.
Nothin' wrong with learning more about life as far as I can tell.
