One year out! +

Doug, Yes, I'm very happy with my physical self. I still think of myself as fat though. I'm hoping that changes in time. My wife tells me that I'm too thin. Me. Too thin? I don't see it. I do know that my face, neck, and shoulders are frail looking. I'm confident that will change down the road, too.  If I never lost another pound, nor ever had PS, I would be content for the rest of my life. I couldn't come close to saying that one year ago. My only fear now is maintaining the loss long term. I'm just going to take life one day at a time.

Al,  It's good to be back chatting with everyone. This board has definitely been a tool I used on my journey thus far. One year down, the rest of my life to go....

Ronnie, It is good to see you posting again.  It sounds like your move went really well.  The view sounds great as well. Good luck on the job search.

Hi Runald, Glad to have you back ex-Tex. ( Does that make the missus...... nevermind) Anyway, sounds like you've settled in nicely. Your place sounds great... thanks for the invite. (Whens bow season start in the "square state" anyway?) Congrats on completing the first year of the rest of your life. I'm happy this weight loss comes hard, lest I be tempted to take it all for granted and learn nothing from the experience. I, too, have trouble recognizing myself in the mirror these days. I think I look a little frail, and gaunt. Mostly in the face and shoulders. I'm gonna hit the weights hard again when the kids go back to school, and my mornings are free.  You may not have been THE model patient- but you certainly were an inspiration to me and many others, I'm sure. Good to have you back. DD

Nice to see you settling in well. Keep me posted on your journeys in Colorado. We are coming out in Sept to look at some different areas, we are looking at Parker, Elizabeth, Golden areas. I should have a job lined up before we move out at the new Stadium in Commerce City. Can't wait to get out there.

Congratz on your success
