Now the waiting begins

Today I had my last consultation with my dietician as per insurance requirements. So now I've had my mental health assessment.  I've been under a doctor controlled weight loss and exercise program for 3 months and I've completed my required dietician consultations. Now the wait for the insurance company to make their decision, fingers crossed.

When I had my surgery, there was no requirement for a current diet and exercise program which was good for me since it was a struggle to walk from one room to another.  I had had a diet program of over 6 months a few years prior to the surgery and the ins accepted that.  But, then I heard that the insurance companies began making people jump through hoops as more people opted for the various WLS procedures.  Most now require a six month diet program.  Just make sure how long you have to be on a supervised diet program before getting anxious about the ins company's decision.
