Bizarre sleep question
So I am finally at the point where it doesn't hurt to not sleep in the recliner. I really want to start sleeping in my bed, so lastnight I did. Well, when I went to roll on my right side, I felt something in me actually move on my left. It was totally bizarre, like some intestins just decided to flop over.
So, weird question, have any of you had experience like this soon after surgery? Maybe it was my imagination, but it sure was bizarre!
Nick,
How long ago did the drain come out? I know that I thought that everything in there was moving for the first couple of months. I am not sure it wasn't trying to reconnect its self. Anyway, This is normal, the main thing is to ask the questions, they have been asked before and they will be asked again. When you are out further it will be you who is repling to the newbie.
Best of luck and enjoy the ride. It is fantastic.
Life is a journey, don't waste the trip.

(Pssssst...i'm a GIRL...but have had the same thing happen this week as I transitioned to bed too [after three weeks in the chair]...it's like an unpleasant sloshing. What I found helps is to put soft pillows on both sides, so if I roll, my sore belly is up against something soft and not just hanging in space...)
