Monday Coffee Talk

Good Monday morning everyone!  Gotta rise and shine!  It's Monday and it's going to be a WONDERFUL week!  It's back to school time for most of us.  Things change this week and we have to get into a groove of getting up early and getting the kiddos off to school.  Are ya ready?  I AM! Our challenge today is to call some young person you know (if not your own) and encourage them as they get ready for school.  I know we had a similar challeng last week and I promise not to get on a "youth" kick, but our kids face so much in this day and time.  I only thought I knew what they faced until I became Youth Director at our church.  So many teens come to me telling me the peer pressure and "things" they face and my mind is blown.  I have to keep on their level and my mind is just blown away.  PLEASE!  Accept this challenge and support a young person (they don't like to be called children even though they are!).  Call them!  Send them a card!  Buy them a gift showing them you care.  JUST SUPPORT THEM IN SOME WAY! So, what cha sipping on this morning?  The flavor of the day for me is New England Hazelnut Creme!  Ya gotta love it. Whatever you are sipping on, I hope you are enjoying it.  Have a wonderful and blessed Monday as you support a Youth!

Good idea and man are you ever right about the stuff our kids deal with.

It may be back to school time for the people living down south, but for most of the northern US, school (k-12) doesn't start until after Labor Day.  College is basically the same around the country.
