I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more If the numbers climb just a little. That way, I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine. If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?" Then STAY OFF of Them! But for those who Are weighing in- Drum roll-------------------------------------- Hop your Azz up on the Scales! How much have you lost? Since Surgery? Or in Pre-Op Diet? Good morning guys.  Sorry I have not been on here much but my thoughts and prayers are always with each of you.  God has been keeping me very busy with our Servant Ministry.  We have now been incorporated as a nonprofit ministry here in Indiana .  Ann and I have been visiting Nursing homes, hospitals and home bound people regularly.  We are also currently going thru the Hospital Chaplain program here in Kokomo .  I thought I need a little break this morning as put on the finishing touch to a sermon I will be doing in a Nursing home this afternoon.  Since my weight loss and getting a few things fixed with my body parts damaged by carrying around so much weight for years, I am able to continue on in our ministry.  God has been so good to us in getting physical problems taken care of and getting us the right surgical specialist to fix this old 1943 Packard restored that I am proud to take it out on the busy highway of life. Ok now you know where I have been the past few months, here is an update on my weight. Started out on the day of Surgery 21 months ago at 450 lbs.  That was down about 25 lbs from where I first started my journey. Today I weigh 225 lbs - That is right I am half the man I use to be weight wise. Because of my age the Dr wants to get to around 220. Glad to read the progress of all my brothers here on the site. God Bless Dan Packard

Dan, You made my day! Nothing beats your Great News! All the lives you touch have no idea how close they came to missing out on what you have to share. You are my inspiration and "goal setter!" I want to be the plow that’s used till it flat wears out, I don’t want to lose out to rust! Have a Blessed Week! Best Wishes- Dx

Hi Dx, For the first time since my surgery, I have not lost anything.  I am exactly the same weight as I was last week.  My exercise and diet have not changed, so I wonder if I am entering a plateau or slowdown.  I am almost 7 months post-op.  So I guess it is not that unusual.   Overall, I'm down 117 since surgery, and down 136 from my highest!

Highest: 375 Consultation: 373 PAT: 361 Surgery: 356 Last Week: 239 Today: 239

Jim
