Made it home yesterday from Surgery
Just want to let everyone know I made it home yesterday from surgery !!!! Doc said everything went smooth and I feel great. Little bit in pain, but not as much as I thought. Why didn't anyone tell me when the pull the drain out it was going to hurt like hell ???? LOL
Funny little story yesterday before I was going home, a lady at the hospital ask me what would I like for lunch ??? I had two options - Chicken burritio with rice, or chicken casear salad ?? I couldn't laugh cause it hurts to, but I just burst out laughing when she ask me that.
Glad to hear you’re home and "on the mend." Take it easy for a bit and sip all the water you can. Isn’t amazing that the "Lunch-folk" at the hospital Have so little info about the patients in the rooms? My hospital brought by desert with a tray every other day… That was while I was still on – "NPO" No food or liquid orally what so ever, just IV! Fortunately, my visitors got free treats out of the mistakes. Hope to hear you are up and going at full speed soon. Best Wishes- Dx
