Hey Dan,
Thanks to a 10 mile run on the 31st, I got in 95 miles for the month. That was great and I think that I hit my goal. I found two training routes that were just beautiful. They start at my son's school so I can hit them some more.
Here is to August!

Yeah I was just thinking it was about time to fess up for July.
Thanks for keeping me honest.
July week 1: built handicap ramps and deck at my Mom's; no mileage
July week 2: 12 miles
July week 3: 24 miles
July week 4: 22 miles & moved oldest from college apartment (3rd floor; 2hr to load) to storage
Does that count as stairmaster time or anything?
Total of 58 walking/jogging
Registered for American Family Fitness 10 in Richmond VA Oct 13 and Suntrust 8K in Nov in Richmond. Those are my target to improve from my 1:38 10K in March to 1:10 or faster in Oct.

I'm in for August. Hope to do 80 miles running and 240 miles (cycling/spinning) in August.
I'm currently training for dualothon on September 15 (1.5 miles running/20 miles cycling/3.2 miles running) and the MS150 at the end of September.. I have about four scheduled 5k runs in August, as well as a couple of cycling centuries. Hope to get some relief from the heat since I hate working indoors.
Going to start reading about extending the running miles since I would like to participate in a half-marathon early 2008.
Thanks for keeping us going,
Rob
Hey Guys -
Okay... As usual, no mileage goals for me during the Tri season...
Just getting the required work in to prepare for each race.
Here are my numbers
Miles Last Month (June): 295
Miles July 1 - July 15: 182 miles
140 Bike / 28 Run / 6 Swim / 8 Elliptical
Miles July 1 - July 15: 101 miles
67 Bike / 20 Run / 12 Swim / 2 Elliptical
Total Miles For July: 283
Numbers were a little low for the 2nd half of the month, thanks to a taper week as well as a few recovery days.
On top of all this, I'm still lifting 4 days a week, as well.
One more major tri, this season...
North East Championship Olympic Distance Triathlon
North East, Maryland - Aug 26
A few sprint distance races will be thrown in during Sept & Oct.
Doing the Seaside Half Marathon in Seaside Heights, NJ - Mid October.
And just yesterday, my registration was officially accepted for
The 2008 Eagleman 70.3 Ironman® in Cambridge, Maryland - June 8, 2008
Half Iron Distance - 1.2 Mile Swim / 56 Mile Bike / 13.1 Mile Run
Only 311 Days 'til race day!
S'cuse me, fellas... Gotta go train!
See Ya At The Finish Line.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/thumbsup.gif)
Be Well,
