I'm 43 but had the surgery last year. I think (but am not sure) that I read that the average range for men to have WLS surgery is in their late 40's. JP

53 here. i think most guys are in their 40's due to the cost. however that may change with insurance companies letting more people get the surgery plus all the tv coverage now has made it a fad practically. wish i did have it in my 40's though!

By my count, there are 3 locker room mates older and one same as me....I'm 58! But I feel 29!!!!!!!!!!

I was 38 when I had my surgery. According to the calender I am 42 will be 43 in November. I like to think that I'm still in my 20's and rarely admit to being more than 35. All the best, Bob
