The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
Good Afternoon fellas,
I've been feeling exhausted all week and haven't exercised, I had my 4 month follow up at Duke this week and they gave me a B12 shot and ran bloodwork - hopefully we'll get to the bottom of the fatigue soon....
Still cruising at 3 lb. a week - Hoping to tune it up just a tad and break the 200 barrier before I arrive back in Arizona the last week of August.
High - 297
Surgery - 282
Last Week -216
This Week - 213
3 lbs. lost this week, 69 since surger, 84 total

Looking back to November 12, 2006, at 346 pounds when I started this process, I could not even dare to dream of a goal of 199 pounds. It was honestly incomprehensible to me. I figured that if I could get down to 215 in 18 months I would call it an overwhelming success.
Well, I am 215 today, down 131 pounds in under 9 months. 199 seems very reasonable now. The loss has been slow this month, but I was on a cruise ship for a week of it. so I am calling it a win. I am really motivated to break the 200 barrier!
To any of the new guys, or lurkers out there, believe it. If I can do it, you can do it. Also, a continued thanks to the guys who have walked this path with me. You guys rock.
I'm going to go buy a mountain bike today and go for my first ride on a bike (peddle powered, that is) in over 20 years, to celebrate. Let's hope that the cliche about never forgetting how to ride a bike is true and that I do not end up in the emergency room.

Man I enjoy reading this post every week.
You guts have some great results.
I am yet on my 6th plateau in 7 months. I've been 232-234 since July 9 and am still there.
I increased my walking/jogging mileage this week to 22 miles (3 days @ 6 and 1 day @ 4 miles)plus two hours moving daugthers college apartment furniture down three flights of steps and cut back on my food intake. Just focused on protein, fruit, and water. Sunday,....232. Maybe next week.
I did note this morning that the 42x30 jeans I have been wearing are about 4 inches overlap in the waist before I button them. Maybe I'll go try on some smaller pants at an attempt to keep myself motivated. 10 months out, high of 408, DOS 374, current 232; Down 177 total , 143 since WLS. Still pretty incredible to believe.
Keep hangin guys,...you all keep me going.
