Is anyone ready for some football?

Both local baseball teams stink (SF Giants and Oakland A's).  Basketball is over.  I am ready for some football...

Yeah bay-bee!    Ya smell that?   It's August!  And that means:  FOOTBALL...  IS...  BACK!!!  

  I'm sure ready.....Cincy sucks (I might as well be one of their relief pitchers) Cleveland is doing ok but they will fold at the end of the season. Come on Bungholes, Clowns and Bugeyes. It's time for some smash mouth football!!!! Dave

OH, HELL YA!!!! I have been veining for Football for months! If we can keep the Chrysler's at bay this year, my Steelers have a real chance! JP

I love football season but  I usually have to make a decision on whether to watch NASCAR or football in the fall.  Now that Rutgers has a good team, I know who I'll be watching them (had to settle for listening to radio during the lean years).  I'm an Eagles fan and my wife's a Giants fan.  But, we cheer each others' teams when they're not playing each other.  My wife, at 54, has bee a Giants fan since she was 5.  I've only been an Eagles fan for 27 years.  I used to be a Jets fan when I lived in North Jersey.  Well, at least I root for a team that wears a green uniform.

DVR - Digital Video Recorder. Record the race, watch football live. Sorry about being an Eagles fan, that must be tough. Bwahhhhhhh, hahahahaha.  Sorry, having grown up in Pittsburgh I couldn't help myself. JP

Futbol, soccer, is in the middle of the season? what are you talking about?  The day I can **** on Georgia frontieire grave and LA gets an expansion team I will be a fan again. for now its all about the RedSox, Dodgers, USC  MLS and hockey. 

Soccer is cool. My kids all played it through high school. My daughter's dog is named "Beckham", Beck's for short. I don't think LA will ever get another NFL franchise, as hard as that is to believe. JP

Absolutely brother.  I've enjoyed some NASCAR this summer but been in football withdrawal for months!!!
