Clean joke...
A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his parishioners. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door.
When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10."
Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked."
Remember when the funniest jokes were the clean ones? They still are! "A cheerful heart is good medicine" (Prov. 17:22).
Happy Friday!
I like a good clean joke, but finding clean comics to listen to is often a problem. I've heard a few on the Comedy Channel in the last month that had me almost rolling on the floor. The first is Henry Cho who is a Korean born down South and his show was titled "What's that clicking noise?' The 2nd was John Pinette doing a routine called "I'm Starvin' ." I have that on Tivo and laugh every time I watch him. Kevin James did a good show called "Sweat the Small Stuff." And, one of our blue collar comics, Bill Engvall, has a show called " 15 Degrees Off Cool." Robert Klein has a special on HBO this month but that may offend some people. I don't think my parents nor my priest would enjoy it but I think most of my friends would. I did and I think most of you probably think I'm a prude based on my past comments.
