I may have jinxed myself
Well I may have spoke to soon and jinxed myself. I ended up spending 4 hours in the ER last night to get a catheter placed back in. Things were looking better earlier in the day but by evening the tap seemed to shut off. By 8 PM I was getting uncomfortable down there, so we headed to the ER for a recatherization. They were quick to get me in back and place the new one but then I ended up laying there for hours waiting for a doctor to see me. I told them I didn't need a doctor, I just needed the catheter replaced, but that's not how it works there, I must be seen by the ER doctor. All he did was give my an antibiotic to prevent infection (which I don't have). And he told me to follow through with the Urology appointments I already had scheduled. Boy I'm glad I waited to get that advice. So today I'll call back Urology and see what if anything they want me to do now. Other than that all is well. I'll keep you updated on the latest goings on.
Keep Well All,
