Day 366 Post-Op
Thanks for the suggestion. I think the "sporting" aspect of my activities are currently where swing dancing is slotted. Social, intense activity with breaks. When I say I'm looking to up my cardio, I'm really talking about pure cardio like spin, where I sustain a 150-170 heart-rate for an hour, or cycling, where I sustain 145-155 for two hours. That's just pure calorie burn.
I agree there's a limit to the amount of that kind of activity that's sustainable. I'm looking at once or twice a week, which I've managed to do two weeks in a row now: an hour of weight-lifting followed by an hour spin class.
Sustained cardio was such and important part of my losing weight! And I did it when I weighed 300+ lbs, guys!

John, Congratulations first of all. You know I tried those spinning classes and man they made me so freaking dizzy I'd hurl before the class would end. No more spinning for me! BobM.
