a bit of frustration at my new body
Actually Technique has always been one of my strong points, but now I dont have the strength or the speed I used to to get back up again.
I have another month or so until the season, I have been doing mostly cardio training, not too much weight training, and I think I will keep it at that for now, until I plateau at my final weight, or at least stop losing. Then I think I will start the weights a bit more.
One concern I might have concerning flag football or any real contact sport. I am wondering about calcium loss over the years and if RNY patients may be more prone to broken bones or lack of absorbtion of calcium. Don't know the answers. In some ways we are guinea pigs concerning venturing into new unexplored areas. From a former linemen...Brian
