WOW!

So... I am now 5 weeks out... (Today, as a matter of fact!)  And stepped on the scale this morning at 329 pounds... When I went to my first apt, 399, and surgery weight of 386!  HOLY CRAP!    I knew it would go down quickly, knew it would be a lot, but, never would have GUESSED that it would be 57 pounds in 5 weeks, and 70 pounds since a week before the surgery! I just wanted to share the greatness and my joy! Slainte! Brian

People told me to hold on for the ride.  I never really knew what they meant until it happened.  The word "ride" really sums it up.  Brian

Excellent!   I'm behind you (1-week, 1-day) post op.  It's great to hear the success stories. If you get a chance let me know what you are eating at 5 weeks out.   I'm of course, still liquids and would love a little something solid. Mike

Hey Brian... we sound so very similar... back last Aug 06, I was 404 at my weighin at my final nut consult... WLS day of Oct 3/06 I was 387.... today, 41 weeks later I'm 245...or down 159 lbs! whatta ride.....!!! enjoy bud....you're a loser now! :-) Jim
