How many women lurk over here on the men's board??

Just curious...I bet more than we think.

i have no idea but i'm glad someone is looking out for us. thanks to whoever pulled that last poster out of the locker room. she had only one agenda, stir the pot and that ****** me off as it does a lot of other guys. i don't mind being nice and helping the nice women who post here and respect our board but that last lady, i think someone told her to just go away. that was a nice way to put i think. when i post i don't even consider anyone is reading here except you guys and i hope that never changes. i think the management here has supported us guys 100% in that area. just give us a space to be ourselves and keep the jerks off our board when they invade.

if my g/f wanted to have the surgery i wouldn't hesitate to ask on the main board what it's like from a womens prospective. i think that's mostly what women who post here want to know. what's it like for the men as they have someone interested. we just tell them to send the guy here and we'll take over. those are legit questions and we're always happy to answer and help another guy out. but if you come here to stir the pot and start an arguement or post dumbass topics you're going to be shown the door. i think most women members respect that we need a locker room and really they don't give a damn about our board but know we're here to help if they need it......carbonblob

hey jim, some single nurse came on and stated obese woman have it harder than men plus some other topics. it was a long post about her being busted for everything because of her weight. you know, at work, school, social bla bla. so some of the guys posted and basically said anyone who's heavy has the problem period. well, she didn't like the answer she wanted and kept pushing buttons. so you can imagine how long that lasted. just someone who should stay on the main board and stir the pot there. we don't do pot stirring on our board and told her so. very nicely she got our answers no leave becasue we weren't going to go into details as to why we said our statements. hell, she asked, we answered and now it's up for discussion, no, that didn't fly and i tried to politly tell her she's stirring the pot and anothe poster told her to just leave. i think she had some issues but went about asking us the wrong way so we cut it short. then the post disappeared and all the guys were happy again. in short, another crazy post starting fires. we don't do that, save it for the main board so.......go away. i think that's the jist of the post. any of that make sense? i'm baked right now from my night meds so i'm going to bonk out......later

Oh yeah they are out there. Some respect our space and are just curious, some want to be one of the guys and some just can't stand us having out own space. They just know we are up to something and have to know what it is, it is a control thing.  Like carbon said, I to post as if there are only men here and I am only talking to other men. No matter what we say, guys talk and act differently around men than what we do around women. So this site needs to be a place where we can talk to each other and be open and honest.  It has always been accepted here that if a woman has a real question about WLS and how it effects men the guys here are more than willing to help all we can. But if they are here to poke around disrupt things and just stir up **** they are shown the door. No one is trying to be mean, just trying to protect what we have.  pan head

I think most women never make it off the main board and/or their state board (and a lot of guys only learn of this board thanks to a PM from another man, as I did).  Of those that are aware of the men's board's existence, however, I think quite a few of them browse.  Judging from a few posts I've read on the main board and other boards, ome of them resent it, I think, and some wi**** didn't exist because they think we'd come out to the main board (when, speaking for myself, I'd probably just leave altogether instead). But a lot of them wish they could have the kind of atmosphere we have here.  For all the "hugs" and "love" on other parts of this site, I'm not sure there's as much straight talk, tough love, or actual support and friendship.

here here, well said panhead and ardberg. i'm sure they browse too. however, i never, well nearly ever post on the main board. i did in the very beginning before i knew of this place but i see no reason to go over there unless someone is in real trouble and i have an insight that might help them. otherwise, i see it as a hornets nest waiting to attack me.

i just clicked that thread and low and behold who was on there? buckeye and wad! where are they now huh? i tried to email buckeye a ton of times but to no avail. i know he had some personal issues but really hoped we would have come back. now there was somebody who could be the weightlifting guru for the group besides dave. buckeye really took time to personally tailor routines for anybody who asked. what a character, as was wad, too. miss those guys. also saw C Leigh on there too. she was so nice. great lady and super supportive person. don't see her anymore. hope all is well with them all.....carbonblob
