newbie...started the journey
HI guys...I am Ken...I am in the middle of the process. I have done the sleep thingy, and pysch. test,,and blood work tomorrow, I also completed the class. I started via the lapband route,,,but have research, over, and over, and have decided, that for me...bypass was the winner. I am using Dr. Lavin, a highly regarded local surgeon. I have been dogged in my information gathering, and think I am now on the right track, I have lurked for a while, and decided to join the fellows here on the forum. I thank all those that offer valuable info, to those of us with questions, and fears. I also see a wealth of material from those folks sharing their trial and tribulations. Again, a terrific support issue filled.
Be safe my brother, and continued success.
Regards...
bigguy...Ken
Hey Ken! and Welcome,
Ya I have to agree with Scott on the sleep thingy. That sleep thingy saved my life about 2 1/2 years ago, even before I was considering WLS. Who knew I stopped breathing over 100 times and hour and my O2 level was below 50% THANK GOD FOR THE THINGY! LOL
Ken its great to have you hear and I wish you the best of luck on your journey!
Keep us up to speed as you start the Wild Ride
