John, looking good.  Having lived in Florida myself, both while relatively fit and while over 300 pounds, I can say pretty definitely: 1. Being fat in Florida sucks. 2. Being fit in Florida is awesome. So I'm guessing things are pretty awesome right now.

Not to be vain, but its all about image here too.  I live smack dab in the middle of the tri-cities, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, where all the beautiful people are.  Not to mention the heat and humidity, being overweight does not bode well here, as it shouldnt anywhere.  Next up, surfing lessons, starting this fall.  I live 4 miles from the beach and I'm there all the time.  I love the sand and surf and sun.
