Fissure Tear (tears believe me) and a near blown knee

The bad keeps happening. I have protected my knees profusely until yesterday, when I went Trout fishing, up and down rocky and sandy terrain, albeit I spent most of my time in a bag chair in the river.  I came home and was walking and all of a sudden fell, knee swoll up and it felt like someone had taken the ligaments and hooked them over the cap. Then on top of that still struggling with that damn Fissure Tear.  I don't think I can take care of that in the short amount of time before my surgery.  I am hoping for temporary healing when I do my 2 week liquid thang. a wife joke (I didn't share it with my wife by the way) 'What's the difference between a woman and a battery?'   the battery has a positive side.  Whoo hoo.

Where's the damn fish!   I blew out my knee (again) in Baja this last 4th o' July.  Got too frisky on the beach, and now I'm wearing the "knee sock".  I had surgery on that knee back in my 20's... once you rack 'em their fawked for good.

Aieeee! Knee pain is, to use Dx's term, a biotche. Hope it doesn't last too long.

Bob,

I'm taking a break from updating my new lap top to all new software and ability to record video video directly onto the computer (capture) and then to edit the video --

-- Hope you're knee's feeling better. It will be much easier to  handle after you lose. I'm waiting for something like that to happen to me, since I do hill sprints with a 20 lb weight belt sometimes. Life has gotten crazy - watch out, after you lose if you have a bad knee, you may be running around on your hands!

How's the sugar, by the way? Hope you were able to get it down.

Thanks for all you add to the board!

Dave

Bob, Friday the 13th skipped right past me and bit you in the azz! Sorry about your pain. My post-op knees are 1000 times better than when they carried 2 Dx’s around all day. Hope you’re the "slot machine ready to pay out."

After a run of bad luck, at least the odds are in your favor now for a streak of wins! Best Wishes- Dx
