A few things.  Tuna salad, a little low fat mayo, sugar free pickle relish (Mt. Olive), salt, pepper.  I am wondering if chicken vegetable soup would be good 3 weeks out.  I think it would.  Get the best quality brand you can find and see if it works.  Another trick I would do is take a piece of non fat string cheese and wrap a piece of low fat lunchen meat (chicken or turkey).  I would add alittle mustard or low fat mayo dark lettice.Shrimp defrosted.  Just defrost it for seconds and enjoy (chew good).  It is high protein and good oils.  Peanut butter, the ones just made from peanuts and salt.  The shrimp and peanut butter may be hard to digest but I would give it a try.  Also frozen vegetables.  Just microwave them and your good.  Esp spinach.  It has been a staple for me.  It is high in potassium and iron (Popeye was right).  Most other vegetables cooked real good, chewed real good.  Hope these help...Brian

At that stage I successfully did: 1.  lowfat yugurt with protein powder 2.  banana with or without peanut butter (but go slow as the ft content of bananas was harder to deal with early on but got better as time passed) 3.  SF pudding with or without protein powder 4.  Canned salmon with cream of mushroom soup mixed 5.  Try as I may, chicken, white fish, and tuna still don't go down too good.  I had better luck with imitation crab, deviled crab, and boiled shrimp.  6.  Wendy's Chili 7.  Taco Bell refried beans and cheese 8.  baked potato with grated cheddar cheese (no butter or sour cream) 9.  SF, lowfat fruit smoothies Next stage, phase III, for me,  came the regular diet in moderation and wisdom.  Sugar and fat avoidance is a life-long committment.

BEANS! BEANS!  That most magical of fruits - your wife will thank me for it  I was out a few weeks, and went to Vegas to recoup.  On the way, I stopped and had a little oatmeal for the first time.  Me and the wife had a great time of me dropping "bombs" around the slot players and then walking back around to look at their horrified expressions! Oh the fun we had......
