JP, Congratulations on your exceptional Dash out of the Gates! Speed WLS! Git ‘er Done²! Showed up here still considering RNY or Band, Planning the trip to Mexico…. And would you have thought then, That you’d be You, Today? You need to think up some good non-medical reason to go back to Mexico for a Vacation, in mid winter! To balance off this trip to Alaska in the Heat wave! (What part of Alaska?  I lived there for 4 or so months and have family there... my more Native, Native American members of the family...) So, You’re off the CPA, wearin’ those little britches, And swingin’ extra Meat…. Now the important question… Did you return your seat belt extensions to the airlines? ….REALLY?…. I left mine in the pocket on the back of a seat over 3 years ago and never looked back. Carried those suckers in my briefcase for 8+years… Somehow…I don’t miss ‘em! Keep up the Great work! Hey Dx, my other WLS Hero! In answer to your questions. No, I did not honestly think then, that I would be the me I am today. The trip back to PV is already being planned for my 1 year mark. If we like this cruise, there is one that goes out of San Diego that hits PV in December that I will be on. Otherwise I am just going to hop a jet down for my one year check up. As for Alaska, we head out of Seattle on Saturday on Holland America and hit Sitka, Ketchikan, Juneau, among others. Doing the helicopter glacier hike thing, whale watching excursion, et al, pulling all the stops! Have option to extend the trip and take the train up to Denali, which is looking likely. Never been on a cruise, or to Alaska, so this is going to be really exciting. Yes, I have returned the Southwest and American extenders. Quietly left them in the seatback in front of me. Carried them for only two or three years, here. Retiring the CPAP was the best. Damn, I hated lugging that thing all over the country. Thanks for all your support and knowledge over the months.
