Pre-Op - What can I eat the day before the surgery?
All I can say is that ur last meal should be the night b4 the liquid diet starts. Mine started on a Monday, so Sunday light I had my 'last supper'. And because I did it, I was able to stick to my protein liquid diet.
Good Luck

I had several Last Suppers the month before, but I made the point to behave myself. I ate what I wanted, but I was also trying to lose a few pre-op AND get my head around the idea of smaller portions.
Eat what you want, but stick to the doctor's game plan.
As far as the last 24 pre-op, I was restricted to a liquid diet. No overt sugar restrictions, but I managed to spike my blood sugar the day of my labs, and he was out to get me if I was not below 150 at pre-op. I ate *A LOT* of diet Jello that day, and I've hated it ever since.
