The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In ____July 8th! scale Whew!  I'm finally Home! Congratulations and Welcome to our New Guys. For those of you headed in next week--Have the Greatest! For those of you just home—"Sippin' tha****er, and Walkin' Bunches"- Hang in there, And all of you "Livin' on Liquid only Pre-Op Diets!! Same thoughts- It Does Get Easier Each Week! I know that using the scales can make some crazy, (Slower loss is Still Loss!) -But- Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!" Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss. I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more If the numbers climb just a little. That way, I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine. If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?" Then STAY OFF of Them! But for those who Are weighing in- Drum roll-------------------------------------- Hop your Azz up on the Scales! How much have you lost? Since Surgery? Or in Pre-Op Diet? And has the Scale moved this week for you? If so, How Much? My Starting Weight? – 385 + All Time Low – 179 Me?-   183.5 .. So, What about YOU? (NEW GUYS AND LURKERS? Scan back over the last months of this weekly post, And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact that there isn’t a "Typical" progress, Just massive, persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!) (Exception- Men Do Typically lose faster whiz than their female counterparts!)  Yahoo! Keep It Up!!! Best Wishes-Mike Wazowski

Dx,

Welcome back, you were missed.

This week I got the results from a recent blood test and the Doctor said my cholesterol was the lowest of anyone she knows. Total cholesterol was 121. She said I wasn't going to die of a heart attack. That's great news because two years ago I would have thought that was exactly where I was heading.

I guess a good thing about working graveyard is I get to weigh in first. Whoopee.

Starting weight, 1st consult: (January 13, 2006) 339

Surgery weight, March 20, 2006: 300

Last week: 177

This week: 177

Everyone have a great week and remember to stay hydrated if you are out in the heat.

Life is great, Rick

Hi fellas - I see I haven't posted since the end of April!  Life has been busy - as I'm sure it is with everyone.  I continue to feel stronger and pushing myself more.  In early June I took a 3000 mile motorcycle trip to New York and Vermont and had a great time.  I actually lost a little weight then (didn't have time to graze as much in the saddle) and came back at 183.  It seems my body likes 185-186 and bounces a couple pounds either way. Pre-op diet: 280 Lowest weight since WLS:  173 Last post (4/29): 186 This week: 188 Total down: 92 Pounds left to my personal goal: 13 Hope everyone has a good and safe week! Matt
