hey all -  I went to see my Doc 2day for the follow up.  i know it wasn't 2 weeks but 10 days.  It was to be 2 weeks after, but he is only in the office on Thursday's so it was either today or 4 next Thursday (4 days after 2 weeks).  I could not wait unless I had to in order to get the OK for the soft solids.  Well this is what he said.  He was so amazed in the recovery.  He was so happy.  So, I am back to work on Monday, driving, and best of all soft solids!!!!  Damn I cant wait.  I never thought that Egg Beaters would sound SO GOOD. Also I am down 38lbs from my last weight in with them - June 18th - 1 week b4 surgery. Thanks for all the support. Sean

Hey Sean, Congrats on your follow up visit.  Sounds like things are going great for you!  38lbs, that's awesome!  I hear ya about Egg Beaters, I never thought they would sound so good either!  I get to try those on Monday.  Hope the soft solids go well for you.  Steve

You're doing great! Down 38 lbs. In 10 days!  I dropped 29 in the first two weeks and thought I set a record. Make sure to stay with foods that are easily digestable. Egg Beaters are a good choice. Another good choice is refried beans; the fat free kind when you're home, but I ate the regular stuff at the taco places without incident as well. Be especially careful to take small bites, and chew the food until it becomes a liquid. It sounds nasty, but just wait until you get something stuck, then you'll know what the advice is all about. Have fun on your way down the scales!
