Got My Date & Approval

Hey Guys I am kinda new here, I posted once or twice before.  Anyway I got my official approval from my insurance yesterday.  And I will be having the Roux-en-Y on July 18th.  I am excited to start this new phase on my life and a little nervous at the same time.  Anyway I am sure I will have tons of questions and I am so thankful I found this board. You guys rock!

congrats on the date.  I just had mine 6-25-07.  I would not change anything.  i have dropped 30+ since i started the process and 15 since the surgery.  I am stoked.  Advice to ya - do what the Doc's tell you to do prior to surgery.  I had to do the liquid diet 1 week b-4.  After surgery the Doc told me that if I did not he would not have been able to do the surgery. Congrats again and keep us posted.  Ask any questions. Sean

Congrat's!   Looks like we are running neck to neck or stomach to stomach, My surgery date is July 17th.   I have found this to be a great forum and support group.   Keep us informed. Mike
