Monday Coffee Talk
Good Monday morning everyone! How'd ya sleep? I slept WONDERFUL! Like a ROCK! I'll steal Chevy's motto this morning. HEHEHE
Our challenge this Monday morning is to take back your smile. Don't let the things of this life and the cares you face daily take your smile. So many times we can be overtaken by "things" day after day that we allow those "things" to steal our smile. Our joy is gone then and we are left wondering "what happened". Where did our joy go? Why don't we smile anymore? Take back that joy! Take back that smile. Don't allow "things" to overtake you! YOU overtake the things! TAKE BACK YOUR SMILE today!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on some wonderful Maxwell House regular blend this morning and it's soooooo good! Ya gotta love it!
I hope you have a wonderful Monday, taking back your smile!
For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"
I rarely drink coffee but I like reading your posts for your positive outlook on life. Yesterday, at Mass, we celebrated the birth of John the Baptist. The celebrant was an elderly priest from the Divine Word Seminary. Most of the men who are there have been missionariers throughout the world and this is where they go to retire--well, sort of. They still serve the parishes of our diocese.
Anyway, he gave a wonderful, upbeat sermon and said we should be childlike in our wonderment and appreciation of life. He gave several examples of how we should act and a few admonishments on how not to act. He concluded with a reminder for us to be upbeat and childlike in our life. Then, a baby shrieked and the priest just laughed and went on with the Mass.
