Hi Friends: It's been quite a while since I've posted last. I had my surgery on July 25 2006. My highest weight 315-320 I am now down to 175. I have shrunk to a size 32 pant, med shirt. From a 3XL shirt  46, and some 48 pants. I am t ruly amazed  as to what this WLS  has enable me to do. I am off of a lot of my  maintenance medications.  Just have albuterol and advair for asthma, of which I haven't used the emergence inhaler since the hospital in 2006. Everything is going great, Yes I have eaten things not on the Dr's list,  I do get tired, but haven't had what is called the dumping t hingy. When I have  too much carbs, or some little treat,  I just  can't eat a LARGE TREAT anymore  . To you new guys, the initial couple of months are tough, but persevere and it'll be worth it. Dave, Congratulations on your progress!  Wow, 175 lbs. lost in a year's time. You must feel really great. I was just in Minneapolis about a month ago.  It is a really nice city.  I enjoyed walking around the downtown area and convention center.  The people were friendly.  And, it wasn't expensive.

Happy Surgiversary! Impressive year, so you must be doing something right--even with the nibbling on the do-not-eat list. Thanks for letting us in your success.
