I'm back home
Hi guys
I had my RNY surgery Wed. the 20th and was allowed to come home yesterday(6-22).
The surgery went really well and I'm a little sore but not to bad. I also have been running a low grade fever up until about an hour a go. All in all every thing seems to be going ok.
I guess now all I can do is sit back, rest and recover.
Thanks for all your kind thought before the surgery.
Randy
Welcome home.
I'd probably keep an eye on the fever, but it sounds like you're on the mend from surgery.
As the guys will tell you, follow your doc's advice, sip, sip, sip, and walk, walk, walk (as best you can) and you'll be feeling super in no time.
Enjoy the trip.

Ah, yes, sip, sip, sip and walk. I couldn't walk when I came home. Heck, I could barely walk from one room to the next before the surgery. So, I had a slow recovery time. This year I started going to a gym and using the pool. Exercise feels great.
Don't try to rush your recovery. Everything will progress according to God's plan for you.
