Mancavirus
Ok, need some help here from you experienced WLSrs. As you know, I've just finished my fantastic mancation. Well...I learned that the mantra "All work and no play makes Jake a dull boy" translates parallell to "All play and no sleep makes Jake a sick boy". My mancation evolved into Mancavirus, as my wife puts it.
So, what worries me is that I've been dealing with a gnarly case of Strep throat (tested). Shivers, shakes, quakes, sweats, confusion. You name it, I've had it over the past few days. Before i got sick I merrilly posted that I had broken my plateau and finally hit 198. Well...after this bout, in the past three days I've lost 9 pounds.
I'm able to eat, and drink again. I'm just wondering how to properly work back into a good nutritional regimen. I don't want to trigger the whole starvation crap again. I was luckilly able to continue sipping my protein shakes through the whole ordeal, and a little apple sauce, but that was it. Should I dive right back into normal diet (well, WLS normal)?
If you've experienced something like this, I'd love the advice. In the meantime.....190 feels good too
