Raw Veggies?
Hi Dave
I think I was about 4 months out when I started eating fresh veggies. It was right after our Wellness Committee had Doctor come in and speak about colon health. They have what they call lunch and learn talks. The one thing I took away from his talk was fiber. He said fiber is what cleans out your colon and removes toxins and generaly keeps it in good health. He said if we would all eat a balanced diet and get plenty of fiber to clean out all the chemicals and processed foods we eat it would go a long way to improving our health and preventing colon cancer.
When we have these at work they provide lunch for those who attend. We all got our boxed lunch and everyone started to eat. He told everyone to go ahead while he started. After about five or six minutes he asked who was finished and who was still eating. Most everyone was done, of course I was still eating. He said that we had thirty minutes to eat lunch but we were swallowing it whole. He said that if we would take the time to chew our food properly it would help our digestive system and the whole process for that matter. Plus the thirty minute respite in the middle of the day would help us out in other ways as well.

Hey Dave.....
Just about a month ago, I realized that I was craving fresh fruit and veggies.
Checked my sources and was told to proceed with caution. Now, I cant put down a good salad no problems. The only bad experience i had with salad was the dressing. Remember that most dressings are made of oil and/or sugar. Use caution.
