Private Parts...
Hey Guys,
I am new here, well not really. I have been lurking for about a year. I am actually scheduled to have my surgery next month. I was reading something in a mens health mag and I wanted to confirm it. I apologize in advance if this seems like a dumb or vain question.
In the article I was reading it says that overweight men hide a lot of there penis under the fat in your abdomen area, and that for every 30lbs you loose you loose you can gain any where from 1 - 2 inches. This just seems crazy cause say you have 200lbs to loose, according to there calculations you could gain anywhere from 6 to 9 inches! I know you don't gain it perse, it was there all the time, just hidden, but it still seems like a lot.
I apologize if this question is innapropiate or comes across that way, that is not my intention at all. But can any of our big losers in here comment on this?
Thanks guys
Hmmm. Trying to put this in a way that ain't crude.
When the fat retracts, the available area comes out further. It's not that you grow so much as what's there becomes more accessible.
One inch every 30 pounds is probably a bit ambitious. I didn't take any measurments down there, but the wife tells me that while there is less of me to love, there is also more of me to love.
Hope that helps.

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will jump in here, and perhaps repost some old threads where we batted this around.
I had heard that it's more like 1/2 an inch per 30 lbs. I've lost 139, so that's 2.3 inches gained of "usable length".
All I can say is that there's a lot more "dangle" these days.
all i know is, it's all good!!!
A few thoughts:
1. I doubt it's linear. That is, I think from 250 to 200 you'd gain a lot of exposure, but from 400 to 350 it wouldn't be as drastic. If it were linear an inch per 30 pounds, many SMO guys would be looking at negative territory.
2. It depends on how/where you gain weight. I gain weight all over in the first 60 pounds or so, but then it's mostly in the gut torso after that. In any 30 pound stretch, I've seen the most shocking visible results as I move from say 255 to 225. Since I've never been below 200, who knows if there will be much further improvement.
3. There is a difference between usable and visible. There is also a difference between visible when ready to go and visible just chilling. For me, the biggest gain is in the "just chilling" department. Useful for not being self-conscious in the gym showers, but not so important for the personal life. Also, even increases in ready to go mode don't translate 100% into usable gains. Without being too graphic, fat will compress and push out of the way, so just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't contribute to the cause.

Geez, FatManWalking, where'd you go???? Someone stole your avatar and inserted a buff young man's picture!!!!
Speaking from only personal experience, I can only wish y'all have the success i have in this department. From 566 to 376. I have experienced not only length benefits but the BEST BY FAR benefit has been the improved blood flow. Speed of readiness, duration, um..............((sigh)) no other way to put this... rigidity ............................ and recovery time for the next round. It really is true in my case. It aint the size of the worm ( average ), it's how well he can wiggle, how long he can wiggle and how quickly he's ready to wiggle again. Get off the size trip, fellas. There are better things to focus on!!
