The Little Girl Who Saved My Life...
Yup, you guessed it...
This is one of those mushy, grateful, "happy to be alive" posts.
I don't normally post this kind of fluff... but today, I just couldn't help myself.
3 years ago, I used to go to sleep most nights wondering if I'd wake up in the morning. Then, I saw this kid pop out of my wife and decided to put an end to those thoughts & feelings once and for all.
This Father's Day weekend, instead of sleeping 'till noon, eating & drinking everything in sight, and falling asleep on the couch around 2am with a "heavy" feeling in my chest, my eyes were truly opened to the fact that my daughter saved me from an early grave.
I was up by 5:30 each day, got in a good workout Saturday morning, a 40 mile bike ride on Sunday morning and still had the energy to enjoy the rest of the time enjoying a bunch of things that a Dad should get to do with his kid(s) on Father's Day.

Hope all you other Dad's had a great weekend as well.
Okay... enough "sensitive guy" crap.
Back to business!
Be Well,
