Hi Guys I've been lurking around the men's site for a couple of weeks now.  I'm finding this site is far more informative and fun than any other forum I've seen.  I's scheduled for RNY surgery next Wednesday (6/20). I've been working at this since last Dec. (orientation meeting) and I'c coming down to the wire and getting a little nervous. When I started my journey I weighed in at 330 lbs. and a BMI of 44.  My weight is down by 27 lbs. so it should be easier for laproscopic surgery.  I also have almost all the co-mordibities (except heart problems), so I'm looking forward to being on a losing team. If you happen to think about it on Wed. and you're religous, please say a prayer and if you're not religous, please send out some good vibes for me.  Thanks and talk to you soon. Randy

You found this site "is far more informative and fun that any other..."      What you actually meant to say is..."you guys are a bunch of losers - I'm gonna be one too, and did I mention I love to F.A.R.T. too?" Randy - it's an honor to have you out of lurkdom and joining us in the Men's Locker Room!  Best wishes and god speed to you as you begin a new chapter in your life.  Keep us informed on how you're progressing. Again...welcome aboard.  We've got a spot on the Losers Bench cleared off and waiting for you.   Cards Fan "NO MORE EXCUSES!  THERE IS NO TOMORROW!  OUR TIME IS NOW!"

Welcome to the Mens Locker Room! I too lurked for several weeks before comming out.  I had my RNY on June 5th and am doing very well.  Lost 21lbs since surgery and feeling great.  I'm sure that you will breeze through the hospital stay, just do what your docs say. We will make room for you on the losers bench.
