(Father's Day!) -Weekly Weigh-In

If we're treading on thin ice we might as well dance.--Jesse Winchester
Good Morning Fellas, The last two weeks have been good for me...I lost 4 last week, and 5 more this week...I'm well past the halfway point and have now lost more than 50 lbs since my surgery less than 3 months ago. I'm off of the soft food restrictions now too, and have had no problems so far with my new permanent eating rules.

Guess feeling sick can have it’s advantages, over the last month or so I was starting to feel like that I was able to eat more than I had been able to eat before, too much even but I was still losing weight and didn’t give it to much more thought. Then about two weeks ago my pouch felt like it did a 180 and just a bite or two would make me feel full or even kind of sick. Then on Tuesday morning I awoke to the worst pain across the lower portion of my ribs in the area of where my pouch is. It was probably one of the worst pains I have even experienced, it was so bad I couldn’t even move for about an half hour after managing to take one of my pain pills. I called my Doctor and he is sending me in for a CAT scan on Monday. On the bright side the pain left up that day and now with only being able to eat small amounts again like I did when my pouch was new I managed to drop 15 pounds this week, I don’t know for sure if this is a good thing or bad I guess I will find out Monday after my test.
