6 Months today
Panhead, Congrats on how far you've come in 6 months. Yesterday I was 3 months out, and it feels good to hit the 1/4 of a year mark. I now look forward to my 6 month mark, as I read your success story. Hopefully the next 3 months will go by as quickly as the past 3 months. My life too is already changing for the better. One of the recurring themes I hear is that people wish they'd got their surgeries sooner. That type of honest feedback was a factor for me, as I had my surgery this year at 30 years of age. Keep inspiring us all! --Dave
Dude,
You are doing great. It does frustrating as it is slow down but I guess the alternative is is it goes fast then amazing stops like flicking a switch. I have come to realize this alternative is not very realistic as I fight with plateau after plateau, but they keep breaking and the scale moves ever so slowly downward. I suppose I must conceded it is probably the healthest way fro the weight to come off long term as it is still happening without "dieting" just maintaining a good diet selection based on the re-training. The water and protein are the basics I hold fast too and they continue to work.
You are doing great. Fast start, steady loss, now tapering into the the next 6 months. You also give some really sound advice and its good having you and your posts out here. Keep plugging along and keep that weekly wieght thing formost,...it will probably need to become bi-weekly or even monthly to keep from slitting your wrists as time goes by. It kinda where I'm at a 9 months out end of this month (26th).
