Looking for men in their 20's

OK - now get your minds outta gutter!!!!! My son is 21 and is having a tough time finding someone his own age who understands what it's like to be morbidly obese.  I am almost 19 months post op - but it's hard for him to relate because 1 - I'm his mom 2 - I'm a 42 yo woman 3 - I'm his mom 4 - EWWWWW I'm a girl 5 - I'm his mom If there's a kind soul out there who would lend a hand. I'm a 28 year old guy who is two and a half months post-op from lap Rouex-N-Y...I love to talk to pre-ops, and would love to talk to your son too...Please let him know that he can communicate me through my profile here: obesityhelp.com/member/goheels or my personal email [email protected]  and of course we all strongly encourage him to lurk around or participate in the locker room here or the weight loss surgery in your 20's room, personally I prefer this room though because it is uniquely taylored to a guys perspective...Oh yeah, and tell him I drive a Ram 4x4 too...

I am 29 and almost 6 months post op. Tell him to stop by and we'll help anyway we can.

I am 26 yrs old and had my surgery almost a yr. and a hlf ago. My starting weight was 462 lbs. and now have lost around 230 lbs. I would love to tell ur son my dealings with being over weight and going through the surgery.

I like 42 year olds, I'm not in my 20's but feel I'm competitive with them in the left brain side so....tell him to hang tough.  But I would recommend him not to become morbidly obese, not fun.

I just called Christopher and he's coming over so we can sit down and I can show him this forum.  RE: the WLS in your 20's - from what I've seen - it's almost all WOMEN! While I'm sure he'd love nothing more than to be the center of attention in a room full of women. He needs a safe male bonding area. I've already emailed Eric - the founder of this site to see if he can add additional filters for men in their 20's.... Please post to his profile - @ 6'1" @ 360. He's got an BMI of 47.4  (extremely obese). He's got sleep apnea, dermatalogical skin issues and is genetically predisposed to Type II Diabetes. Thanks again Guys!!!! Barbi
