Monday Coffee Talk

Good Monday morning ya'll!  Time to rise and shine.  Gotta get going to make this Monday a SUPER day!   Our challenge today is to RESPECT.  Our world lacks respect.  We have to respect one another.  If we do, the world would be a much better place to live.  Too many times we cut someone off, cut in line, don't speak to others when standing in long lines, we ignore those around us.  Why not speak a kind word.  Why not prefere someone else before us?  Why not let the person standing in line with only 2 items go ahead of you.  Why not speak a kind word?  Why not say thank you or your welcome?  Respect will take you a LONG place on this earth, at home, and in LIFE in general.  Before we can respect others though, we have to respect OURSELVES!  Respect yourself today.  Dress with respect.  Walk with respect.  Act with respect.  All for yourself.  If you respect yourself, you can respect others a lot easier. Who's up?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm sipping on some wonderful Maxwell House.  Gotta love the stuff!   I hope you have a wonderful day today full of respect for yourself and for others!

Morning to all. I have some crystal light lemonaide today, nice and cold while at work. My 2 cents on your thoughts above in the big red... I think that most people dont make time for others because they feel that those people would never do it in return for them.  I will always be sure to allow a WOMAN or elderly person to cut in front if it is the right thing to do, and I have had some people get angry at that behind me in line, which is hysterical, but it happens.  I know that they appreciate me doing that, and thats good enough for me.  Most of the time, I do not allow someone to cut in front, and if someone does it because they are being a dick or a jerk, I get quite vocal with them regarding it. Respect has to be earned in my book, and most people will disrespect you at the drop of a hat if they dont know you, so they just dont care.  Of course I live in New Jersey, where the world moves quite fast, so that is a possibility.  I vacation at a friends cabin in Maine, and when I go up there, people are kind and nice, and do respect each other.  Its one of my favorite places on earth, but I dont think that attitude will ever move down here, that is old school. Overall, if all people gave someone a chance each day, our world would be a better place.  If that will ever happen, who knows.
