BP meds cut in half - again!

Hey all... back from my pcp today...and my BP meds were cut in half again! wooooHoooo! that now means I'm on 1/4 of the dosage I was on...and she said just a bit more weight (I'm about 35 lbs from my goal!) and if my rates drop again, she'll consider ending my meds alltogether! now, ain't that nice! Oh, I seem to be one that when the meds are too much, it causes slow heartbeats, ie bradycardia (sic) and that means that I then go in, and she adjusts the dosage, and I then monitor daily for another month... anyways, just wanted to share. been on BP meds now for 4 years, and getting off entirely would be great! whatta ride....man am I one VERY HAPPY CANUCK! Congrats Jim.  I was on BP meds for almost 9 years.  My surgeon said usually if you take them more than 8 years, you may not get off them but have them reduced.  3 months after WLS, I was taken off them completely and BP has been normal ever since.  It's a great feeling.  Good luck on those last 35 pounds.
