I AM EVIL, BUT THIS IS GONNA BE GOOD

This is gonna be Good!!!!! Ok guys you know that I would never take joy in the turmoil that someone goes through to get healthy…..BUT…. Ok, there is a chick at work, who has been brought in as a consultant about 6 weeks ago…she is smart, at her job, really one of the best I have ever seen…smart really smart But she knows she is smart, and she is arrogant, and mouthy, really mouthy, and she knows everything, you can not tell her anything she knows it all…about everything, on every topic Corporate type, up tight, control freak, but really great at her job, (am I giving her enough credit, I want to give her the credit for her job performance) Ok but this chick is so arrogant, that you really wish something would take her down a notch or two… So we meet about 6 weeks ago, and people in the office were telling her that I had had some success with the WLS, she did not even comment on it to me…that is ok, I don’t need it, the relationship was professional, you know, if someone wants to talk about WLS, hell I’ll give a seminar….but if they don’t….OK Well this chick is the …”Anything you can do I can do better” type of chick.. Today, this chick, announces “Pretty soon I will have lost as much as Russ” (she needs to lose about 150#) I  this was just a strange sentence, since she was in the process of making a double Whopper with cheese, and biggy Fries disappear….and a jumbo Dr. Pepper…..oppps…forgot the apple pie She proceeds to give me more information, …She did her research 2 weeks ago….If Russ can do it, how hard can it be?…..she chose her doctor, and saw him last week,  she paid him on the spot….she told him, she had to have the surgery on a Friday afternoon, so that she could have a morning meeting, and be back to work on Monday(on an airplane to the west coast)….there would be no swallow test afterwards to hold down the out of pocket costs…. She is going to tell the doctor tomorrow, if she wants the RNY or LAP band… She is leaning  the lap band, because it’s reversible…. All of this information was given to me, between the three smoke breaks she took in 20 minuets….. Did I mention she was a big stress eater….. Remember how I said it would be nice to have her taken down a notch or two…. Hmmmmmm…. I would never gloat…but THIS COULD BE GOOD!!!!!! RUSS

Russ, after you retrieved your eyes which had Rolled across the room did you offer any "Words of Wisdom?" Or just, "Yeah, it’s pretty easy, you should handle it with No Problem…." I’ve seen many a Gal here who had that same approach. Like they were heading in for a haircut and a pedicure. Perhaps you could get some earplugs ready for the string of "OMG!"’s that will soon be coming from her? Sad really, but then I’ve long given up on "Shocked and Appalled," When Bemused is so much easier.

OK just for the sake of your job...and professional relationship..she could be reading this post right now...these are public forums.  I hate when people think surgery is the easy way out.  THANK GOD it's available as a tool...but the recovery defintely wasn't easy.  It took 3 months just for me to feel "human" again.  Scott

Russ, I will see your evil and raise you a diabolical... She has RNY, you order something chocolatey from hersheys.com, at the same time it arrives, you hang up an "OUT OF ORDER" sign on the womens restrooms. Sit back and enjoy! Ah, I can smell the evil!

While I have had many a person like this in my life, none have been WLSers.  But, I think the same concept applies....  The problem is, this woman will continue to be a .  The genius is in knowing where to hide her corpse. If you don't already, I havea place that has room for one more depending on how well she does with her "reversible" WLS. Know-it-alls, men or women, really mash on my "press to test" button.

WOW I am shocked she could find a DR to even do it with that attitude. If she does the dumping would be nice to see. make sure to tape it adn post them on Youtube, then send out a compnay wide email with the link.

Gosh, I want to be bad also.  Since, I live in Houston can you call me when she dumps.  I'll rush over with another Whopper with cheese, and biggy Fries, Jumbo Dr. Pepper and two apple pies. . . Just kidding.   I don't understand people. . .  Even though i'm pre-op almost everyone that hears that I am having surgery says something like, I'd never do that. . .  You'll never beable to eat again. . .  I finally told my wife, don't tell anyone.   I don't need doubters I need supporters.  I'm sure from what I hear on the forum that when she wakes up from surgery her hold life and outlook with change. . .
