hernia repair

hey guys I just had a hernia repair on Tuesday the 29th.  It was a ventral hernia located under my rib cage.  It hurts like the dickens to cough, sneeze or fart.  But overall, I am happy with getting it done, especially before my new plan year starts in July. Since my surgery, I have only been able to eat 1/3 of what I was use to eating and have kick started my weightloss again.  I have lost 10 pounds since Tuesday. anybody else experience similar results? best part of the surgery is my doc pulled some of my loose skin from my sides and tucked it together,  my stretch marks are now flatened out. Bill, Congratulations on getting your hernia repaired. Hope you are feeling better each day! I had a little bit of reduced eating capacity after each surgery. Some of it is from just the break from normal routine By the hospital stay. My pouch would always seem to be a bit "snugger" after being in for a few days. Take advantage of it, while you got it! Hey Bill my hernia repair was one of the best things in my life.....I had no idea how much pain I was in...when I recouped from that surgery...my exercise went thru the roof, and I hit goal;;; congrats on them skin too.....the chicks will be envious russ
