He's gone
Our special little boy Chili, a Hungarian Vizsla, is gone. We helped him on his way to the rainbow bridge. He was one of god's most beautiful creatures he ever put on earth. he weathered 6 years of horrible epilepsy but the drugs got to his liver and he died of liver failure. we never let him suffer but now that's all that's left for us to do. thanks for all you kind words a few months back rooting for him. he put up the good fight but it was just too much for him. please understand if i don't respond to this post. thanks for your prayers for him.........fred
Hey CB,
Dog lover's like us tend to get attached to the point of them becoming a family member, well close anyway. When the unfortunate happens, then it's just as if a family member passes. I know exactly how you feel, and I'm sorry you're having to go through this. Chili must have been suffering more than you and the g/f knew about. God said it was time, so it was time. Try not to think of Chili in his hard times, just the good times. May he rest in peace free of pain. May you have the strength to let him.
I'm truly sorry for your loss!
Ron
So sorry to hear about your little friend. Unconditional love is hard to come by, but our little four-legged friends are REALLY good at it. I recently had to put my little 15 year old Sheltie down, and believe me, it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. One thing that helped me was to put framed pictures of her in places around the house. My favorite one I put in a magnetic frame and put it on the fridge.
Take care.
