Having a little trouble down under today and it made me wonder how WLS affects the occassional flair up of Polyups/'roid pain?  I have had 2 Colonoscopies where they lasered away multiple polyups and probably will continue to have to problem post op.  Anyone able to dialogue!? Thanks, BobM.

Bob, I was having some terrible pain for several months.  I tried everything and was convinced it was 'roids, but turned out to be an anal fissure.  I had surgery to correct it on 05/04 and things are much better now. Best of luck and maybe you won't have that problem.

I'm thinking that a doctor long ago mentioned fissure tears to me and I kinda shrugged him off because he was like 80 and there's no way I'm letting an 80 year old operate on me, but he wanted to, simple procedure.  Yeah, last time a old doctor took what he called a 'roid off me, he gave me a leather belt and told me to bite hard - I spent a week lying on my stomach filled with pain meds.  the next time i saw him he said, that was a huge 'roid.  A young doc a couple of years later told me that I didn't have 'roids, most likely he cut off a pollyup that had popped out!  OUch.
