Those crazy Euros. I lived in the city of Nijmegen in The Netherlands for a few months. We would often ride our bikes to America, and Grave.

As you may know, Japanese has relatively few sounds, so many words that borrowed from English also sound like other English words.

One is fax, pronounced fakkusu and virtually undistinguishable from f**k(s).

Makes for a lot of interesting phone calls when you can't get the other party's machine  to take your fakkusu.
