Russ,  Try loading your picture to photobucket. There you can start a free account. When you load your picture to OH, just choose the from another website option. In photoshop, I also resize the picture a bit, make it smaller. I don't remember the exact size it needs to be. Let me know if you have any more problems and I'll go through the steps and write it down.  Ron

I just set it for 100x100 to maintain the square. I think it's like 21k or so, nothing big. The 100x100 is the important part though, so you don't get distoriton.

Oh My God!!!!! You actually do have a face!  Hey Russ,  you are starting to look buff man.  I'm taking a minute away from work (the boss is away) just to try and catch up with what's going on.   All new faces....I guess I've stayed away to long to be missed! Take care and keep up the great work. WAD

Hey Dave, The journey has been great thus far.  The only problem I am having now is that I'm having some superficial pain around my new belly button.  I've had a CT and it shows nothing.  On a scale of 1-10 the pain level is constantly about a 1, but at times can escalate to about a 5.   I just have to learn to live with it.   Since the Hernia repair/anchor cut panniculectomy I have gained 23 pounds.  Believe it or not my family doctor is pleased with this gain.  Of course, being the true psycho that I am, I am worried about it.  I am hovering between 215 and 220 being 6'2".  I am still in my 34" waist jeans.  At my lowest weight of 187 people would ask me if I were a concentration camp survivor.  Regardless of what they think I am working to get back down to at least 200.  There is just something about being in the one hundreds. Work is okay....getting busier and busier, but I still feel some unfullfillment with my work.  I'm considering going with a company as an instructor for hospital computer systems.  If it works out it does and if it doesn't I still have this job. Thanks for asking...and by the way.  Since your start on this journey, you look like you have gone from a 40 something year old fat man to a twenty year old stud!!!!  You are looking great. Keep up your hard work and keep these boards hopping for slackers like me. WAD

Hey Larry,

Sorry to hear about the pain. 5/10 is significant. Hope that subsides. Sounds like you're at a pretty good weight. I know what you mean about the 100's, but maybe 200 is a good weight. As long as you feel good.

Teaching computer systems, that sounds interesting. It'll be a good change of pace anyhow. If the other work is getting busier and busier, then teaching will be a good break. There's a lot of prep and people asking questions after class (in my case, anyway), but if you're a people person, it's good.

I feel great now. In addition to the weights, I've taken on interval training (track and stationary bike). Trying to get more of the track & field stud look. Sprints and intervals are really hard, but I'm starting to get better at them and like them. When I do my bike work, the cheerleaders just happen to be in the gym - gives me a little bit of a "boost"!

Whatever happened to old Buckeye? I see Scott on here and even Boner sometimes.

Best Wishes,

Dave

Hey Jake: That recipe sounds great! I just tried barbecued chicken again for the first time last week. I bought a BBQ flavor rotisserie bird from the supermarket and it was AWESOME. The softest best tolerated meat I have had since the surgery 7 weeks ago. I'm just moved to S. Carolina from N. Carolina by way of Phoenix, AZ (confused yet) and have discovered a totally new kind of barbecue sauce way better than the disgusting apple cider vinegar barbecue of Eastern North Carolina. Here the cue places use a mustard based barbecue sauce. It sounded gross to me but, trust me it is really good. The top local chain (Maurice's) here used to have their sauces in Wal-Marts but they removed them from the shelves when the owner of the chain refused to stop flying the confederate battle flag at each of his restaurants! Anyway, my favorite way to barbecue is to go down to the carniceria (mexican butcher shop) and order carne asada "preperada" which means they put the meat in a bag and fill it up with an awesome marinade with orange slices, garlic cloves, bunches of green onions, mexican spices, all kinds of good stuff. The meat they use is top round though, kind of fatty...but you can order different kinds.  By the way my gym has those freemotion machines you were talking about, would you mind shooting me that routine you were talking about. [email protected] Thanks...

Hmm...I used to go to the local carniceria myself. I ought to get back there soon. Another little-used treasure trove is the local asian food markets. We have a large Hmong population in the area and their sausages are KILLER! Throw those dudes on the grill and amaze your friends. They're typically pork, but WAY fattening.
