It's Almost Time!
Well, the clock is winding down. I am scheduled for my final office appointment on Friday, then my surgery is Monday at 1300! People keep asking if I'm anxious, but I'm not a bit. I'm looking forward to it. Well, not really the surgery, but the beginning of the rest of my life. It takes place at the Methodist Specialty & Transplant Hospital in San Antonio.
Please wish me luck on Monday.

Hi Tim,
I'm in Japan so I keep some odd hours on the board. It's 6:00 in the evening now, so just got home from work. It's probably better, I'm a little too full of **** and vinegar in the mornings (everyone else's evenings).
You're right not to be anxious, the surgery seems to be changing everyone's life for the better and surgeons seem to have the procedure down pretty well. I haven't heard of an early term complication in a long time. Worst thing that could happen is probably, you won't like the diet for the first month, or won't be able to eat much for a while - both will help you lose weight.
Well, good luck and hope to see you back here soon!
Dave on the other side
Very cool Tim. This is an exciting time for you. Make sure to print out the post that Ronnie put together here at

You could share that with friends and family. We'll certainly be praying for you. Let us know how you are doing as soon as you can.
Blessings,
Greg
