what's up with the avatars?

I just picked a picture of the most handsome, talented, and intelligent man I could find on the world wide web- then decided to use my own. This is one of the few pictures of me that I have on the computer. My wife took it the night of  "Daddy / Daughter prom" DD

I picked a picture that matched my handle.  I picked my handle because I looked around the room one day and it was the first thing I saw. I like being able to look people in the eye as well, but with my job, I just don't think it's prudent to have my photo on the Internet.  It's not that I need anonymity from the guys in the locker room; it's that I need the locker room to be anonymous to some people in my work life (and yes, they are searching the Internet for stuff like this, I'm not just paranoid). 

 I just love Ohio State football....if anyone wants to see my big fat "A" double they can go to my profile...... Dave....(the one in Ohio )

It's the techno/electronica version of me, man!

This what I had available but it will soon be changed and it is obviously little ole me. If it must mean something and you were seeing me in person like this then you would probably be in my sand box. At this point I would have one thing to say to you " Welcome to my house you can f*ck, fight or hold the light just stay the hell off my door."

Just a picture of me and the wife, we both use it. Its her favorite picture of us, so it was on the computer and avalable. Although about 2 1/2 years before the surgery.

No picture because I hated the old one which was me, plus 150 lbs more than I am now. I don't seem to have any newer ones but hope to have at least one in the near future. I'm constantly being told how much my looks have changed due to the weight loss.

well, i kept my surgery a secret and didn't want to show my face. then i relented a little and put a pic in my profile. after buckeye left dave and i kind of took up his mantle with the weight lifting. so i thought the "guns" shot was appropiate. funny though, i don't define myself by my build or hobby. time for a new avatar then....carbonblob
