Why did you pick the one you have, and what does it supposed to mean? Just curious (1 of 3 questions to be asked) Staying focussed, Al

Mine is my actual picture. I'm living in a totally different culture - one where the people tend to be very internal, so I'm often my main form of entertainment (could you tell?). I change my avatar on average about once a month. The "NotDave" part of the handle will probably stay, but the rest is always up in the air.

Best Wishes,

Dave

Al, In the Men's locker room we tend to just use a picture of the old puss. Some guys get creative with other things but its nice to look a guy in the eye when your talking to them.

And speaking on behalf of all Canucks -- we usually post a polar bear or the northern lights -- but I thought that my own puss would do nicely! My own "much thinner" puss too! Now I'm ready for question #2 ! Jim

I chose mine for a few reasons... one...its obviously my favorite movie and I watch them when I cant sleep and they do the trick since I know them so well. two...Darth Vador was misunderstood and misled by many people that effected his life in both good and bad ways, sort of like my life that has been influenced by many that have helped me make the bad and good decisions in my life. Three...even seemingly bad people have good in them if you are willing to take the time to get to know them and see what they are going through.  Well, that sounds like a good load of $#!t to me but You would have to know these charactors in these movies and think deaper than what they show you, I am not a crazed geek.

Al, I use my own photo.  I also prefer seeing actual photos of others.  I agree with Tim that it is good to look a man in the eyes.

Hi Al, I am currently using a photo I had my wife take of me shortly after I'd been reading a post about "dumping." The No Dumping sign struck me as being a good motto for a guy a few months pos-op. I'll probably put up a new one to show off my new chins one of these days. (I do like knowing what guys look like. Makes everything even more personal--in a good, manly way, of course.)

Well, the picture I had previously posted was of Jerry Garcia.  Even though  I looked like him, I was going to replace it with another picture of myself.  However, the picture I have uploaded on my profile was over 20k so it wouldn't take as an avatar.  So picked the next best avatar that looks like me.  Bobby

Alfred, I used my real foto but decided to try and find one to gross DX out like his grosses me out.  Well I found a dancing fat man but when I put him up  he wouldn't dance....so, I couldn't find my original one so I added another one of me drying my youngest off from swimming until I can find a phat man that can dance or  something else that trips my trigger.
