Newspaper Article
HELLO guys!!! I made mention of this the other day, but I want to tell you a little story. Last week (Tuesday/Wednesday), I was called by the local newspaper to do an interview. They had heard about my weight loss and my cookbook and they thought it would make a nice human interest story. Being that I am a high school teacher (a "public figure")...they thought this would be a great story. (I found it to be a little odd and embarassing...)
Well, they came in and interviewed me... took a couple photos that I had with me (I have a family photo album on my desk) and they took a couple photographs. It was a pleasant experience, but I didn't think much of.
Well, I ran some errands on Saturday, and when I got home, I got the paper off the yard and noticed a photo of a girl that I recognized..and then looked at the other person in the photo and thought...my gosh..he looks familiar... DUH~~~ It was me!!! I openned the paper and there I was...... Front Page!!! I made the front page, and the tradgey on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (fire, three dieing, hour long traffic) made page two. Way to odd....
Well, for any of you who are interested...here is the website for the article. It was a decent article...but they don't have the photos attached. I do, however have the photographs online that I can e-mail you if you are interested....http://hometownglenburnie.com/vault/cgi-bin/gazette/view/200 7G/05/12-18.HTM
As always, I couldn't have done this without you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for everything!!!!!

Thank you... I am hoping sales will increase..so that I can send more funding to the charities that I support. Also, I hope this will assist me in working on promoting the book.. Again, though... I couldn't do this without you all!!!!

Daniel, Great article. It’s good to see a story about those who use WLS to succeed and improve their lives, rather than all of the "Man-Bites-Dog!" stories that usually make print. There are so many out there repeating third-hand-fictional accounts of- "I heard of some one who had THAT Surgery and they____________…" So many a-typical, WLS gone wrong tales buzzing around in communities, it’s good to see some that are "positive models" for improving life. Keep up the great work! Best Wishes- Dx
