Internal Bleeding!

I had some scary moments, I just got out of the hospital after the blood thinners had caused internal bleeding on Thursday. I had started to crash on Friday when my BP had fell below 80/50 and my heart rate was over 160. I truly thought I was going to die, I have never felt that bad before.

They gave me 4 units of plasma and 6 units of blood and she said I’m still only have half the blood I should, I’m very weak and can only stand for a few minutes at a time.

This sucks because I was walking a mile and a half a day and lost 13 lbs in just 7 day post-op and feeling great.

Bret, Hang in there, this to shall pass.  My friend had an RNY done 4 days after my surgery.  He also bled and landed back in the hospital.  The bleeding did stop on it's own.  No one could every figure it out. He is doing fine now.  I am sure you will be back on the road soon.  Keep your chin up! Kent
